In Exodus 14:13-14 Moses told the people, “Do not be afraid; Stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Personally, I am fighting to have faith instead of fear, but I will continue to fight as I do not want because of fear I move about and get out of the will of God. Deep down inside I believe if I just stand still that God will fight my battles for me. It doesn’t matter how powerful the enemies seem to be, I just know that God is more powerful and nothing is too hard for HIM. Many times I allow myself to be moved by feelings, circumstances or even by people and it ought not to be so, as it is only GOD who determines my destiny. I think I am too quick to believe what people say or think about me, whether good or bad, but fail to believe what the Word of God says. I know that it is impossible for God to lie, so I choose this day to believe that if I stand still in God, not only will I see His Salvation but the battles I am now facing will be a thing of the past; and even if GOD choose not to give me victory, which I know He will, I will continue to have Faith instead of fear.
